I have a direct sales shop, where you can buy all my e-books. I do not sell print at this time. The benefits? You keep the e-pub file, you won’t lose it if Amazon decides to make it disappear (which they can do). And I benefit by keeping more money than I would get from Amazon (or the other e-platforms). I truly love and appreciate that people are moving towards buying direct from authors and artists. It means freedom from archaic systems.
You can find the links on each book page here, saying “Buy Direct From Yasmine”…that will take you to my Shopify store, where you can purchase the books. Or you can go directly to my store and browse. After you purchase the book/books, here’s what will happen:
- The e-book will be coming from Book Funnel. With Book Funnel you will get an email with a link to download your book. You will be given choices for what e-format you’d like for your e-book (i.e. For Kindle, Nook, etc.).
- Once you choose then you will be able to download the file to your device. BookFunnel has instructions on their site for this and are really great at answering questions if you have problems.
- If you don’t see the Book Funnel email in your inbox please be sure to check your spam folder. If it isn’t in either folder please contact us to let us know (the shop has an email for you to contact us–we respond ASAP, usually within two days).
