Last night, I found out that a dear friend of mine died last week. We weren’t ‘best’ friends but we were good friends, and I cared dearly for him. We knew each other nearly 30 years. I didn’t know he was as sick as he was–he kept that to himself. I’m going to miss him…he was one of the good ones. And my love goes out to his husband, who was there by his side for all those years.
Give those you love hugs, and let them know they matter. You never know the time you’re going to have with someone.
