Happy New Year!
Welcome to 2026, and for the sake of so many, I hope it’s better than last year. It’s been a struggle, I will admit. So much happened this past year that I don’t want to revisit, so I’m changing up some things in my career, putting an extra effort on my health (which, at least, is better than last year at this time), and hoping to just stay in my lane.
Happy birthday to me, first of all. I cannot believe I’m actually going to be 65 this month. Good gods, it seems…odd. But here I am, with absolutely no plans (or ability) to retire. Actually, I can’t imagine retiring–I’d go stir crazy (and I need to pay my mortgage, LOL). But yeah…I’m a ‘senior citizen’…and I have no idea what that means to me.
Starlight Summons releases Tuesday–a transitional novella between part one of the Starlight Hollow series, and what will be part two (and yes, I lowered the price on the new release. All preorders will pay only the lower price, as well).
I’m really happy so many of you are subbed to my newsletter because Facebook has started a test run of charging creators if they want to post more than 2 links a month, and most analysts expect that to be instituted across the board. And since they won’t guarantee that more than a fraction of my followers there will see my posts, I’m not about to pay for that.
So my website & blog, my Patreon, and my newsletter are the only places to find all the info on my new releases and my life.
As I said last month, we’ve start up my direct sales shop again. Do be aware that you will be required to register for Shopify so that we can better keep track of who has purchased what in case of mistakes.
I’m going to be continuing my chapters on my Patreon of my LitRPG — The Glass Unicorn — and every few weeks, a six-chapter compilation comes out on Amazon for sale. Eventually when the full book is ready, that will come out on all vendors.
So yes, the busy-ness continues, but it’s no longer overwhelming and I’m just glad to have everything in order again. This year, I’ll be writing four full novels and a lot of novellas so that I can visit more of the series that you all love, and so you’ll see a lot of releases–I plan on one a month, for the most part. Here’s a list for the next five months:
Jan: Starlight Summons (transitional novella): Starlight Hollow Series
Feb: Starlight Spells: novel; Starlight Hollow Series
March: Enchanted Web: novella; Moonshadow Bay Series
April: Chaos Rising: novella; Magic Happens Series
May: Shadow Reigning: novel: Shadow Blade Series
So that’s what has been going on. Bright blessings and may 2026 be kind to us. What are you hoping for in 2026?
