Welcome to Galenorn Computer Consulting.  I'm Samwise Galenorn.  I am building this site for several reasons--one, I've gone back into contracting and this site will include my resume and a sample of my work.  Second, this will allow me to interact with other chipheads (technogeeks, computer enthusiasts, choose your label), and not only network, but learn more about the world of programming.

I've got eight years of computer experience (see my resume), including a couple years at Microsoft, and my long term goals include software development but I am comfortable as a tester.

I listen to heavy metal music and Finnish punk.  I don't party a whole lot.  I am a Type 1 diabetic.  I lift weights, watch movies and television, read computer books, spend time with Yasmine (my wife--who's a writer and the creator of most of the rest of this domain) and pet the four cats we have; and I'm not into drugs except the ones I need to stay alive.  I love mathematics and am always working because I get bored when I'm not.
